Cholsey Pavilion Community Centre, Oxfordshire

Cholsey Pavilion, completed in 2013 to provide a community space with library and doctor’s surgery for the parish, had been designed with two large rooflights in the foyer. These allowed a lot of sunlight in, making it very hot and bright in the summer – the problem was their height at 5m off the floor, making the installation of blinds very difficult.

Grand Design Blinds were able to provide a cost-effective manual Pinoleum blind solution, operated with pull cords when required whilst also being mounted above the opening windows to allow high-level ventilation.
