Venetian

Venetian blinds are made with polyester ladder braids hanging from a powder-coated metal headrail on which are hung slim, coated aluminium, horizontal slats that are rotated from level to nearly-vertical in order to close the blind. We specify only the best quality 210 micron slats. A slim bottom rail hangs at the base of the blind. The slat lengths can be graduated to form the triangular shape of a gable window and the rotation can be manual (by a twirl rod) or electric (by battery power or mains). Wooden Venetians are also available, with the slats and bottom rail made of timber and varnished, stained or painted.
