Bifold Door Blinds

Bifold door blinds, also known as folding sliding door blinds, can present a challenge for blind design and installation.

The doors fold tightly together, so there are only two options - slim blinds that can be mounted to the doors themselves, or fitting the blinds outside the door recess.

Pleated blinds have a sleek, slim design and can be mounted flush against the glass of your doors, ensuring they don’t interfere with each other when the doors are retracted.  Their fabric is hard-wearing and washable, so will not suffer under a brief rain shower if the doors are open to the elements. Pleated bifold door blinds fold back very discreetly for the most unobtrusive finish.

Roller blinds are ideal for large expanses of glass and can be fitted into recesses or concealed with a pelmet for a clean, minimal finish. For those wanting a more traditional theme, wooden Venetian blinds are the perfect choice and can be fixed above the doors if they open outwards.

Slim aluminum Venetian blinds can be fitted to the door themselves, with clips to prevent them from swinging as the door moves. The Perfect Fit blinds system may be suitable for this solution, as they can hold the bifold door blinds against the glass without a need to screw into the frame.
